GIUSEPPE COLACINO With great sadness, we announce the passing of Giuseppe Colacino, on July 29, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Giuseppe leaves to cherish his wife Maria; his children, Ugo Colacino (Arlene), Lisa Olson (Randy), stepson Pierino Todaro; grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Brian, Sarina, Brianna; sisters, Maria, Rosa; brothers, Dominic and Petro. Giuseppe was born in Amato, Italy in 1923. After serving in the Second World War, Giuseppe moved to Argentina. He later moved to Winnipeg, to live near his sister, where he started his new life and made many wonderful friends. He raised a family and watched them raise families of their own. Some of his fondest memories were of watching his grandchildren grow. He loved to tell stories and talk. He retired from the construction business at the age of 63 years. Giuseppe had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, gardening, planting his garden from seedlings started in his own greenhouse. Giuseppe also enjoyed country living. Giuseppe wanted to be remembered as being able to give his family love, advice, help when they needed it, special moments together and also being a loving and playful grandfather. Prayers will be said Tuesday, July 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 1, at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev.
